Madarao Kogen restaurants and bars section is much quieter compared with other ski resort in Nagano prefecture. But there is still a few small restaurants and bars to relax with friends and meet locals.
Try Tomikura Soba (Tomikura Buckwheat Noodles) while staying in Madarao Kogen. This local buckwheat noodle uses wild burdock leaves, giving it a unique firmness rich dark flavour.
