An introductory or “level-up” event for whom wishes to learn about how to keep safe in the Backcountry.
This course covers the operation basics of avalanche transceiver, and probe use. Route-finding, hazard avoidance and avalanche phenomenon.
Starting on low angle to progress to medium angle, then hike up and out of area to access legendary Akakura backcountry.
